WHO WE ARE
Coonara was established in 2017 to act as a bridge between backpackers, working holidaymakers and rural Australia. We operate out of three large farm houses, all fully equipped to cater for a diverse range of guests. We aim to ensure you've got everything you need to extend your visa, and fall in love with this beautiful countryside while you do it!

Coonara is situated a short 5-minute drive from the famous Murray River. Enjoy a refreshing dip, BBQ and beach fun, and all-round good vibes at one of the most beautiful parts of the country

Coonara is located on a farm itself, and our owner is always more than happy to offer any information and tours for those interested!
Farm Tours
Not only is Coonara situated with-in walking distance of ancient Aboriginal landmarks it is also built on the remains of an old WWII airforce base.
Sight - Seeing
Tocumwal is home to one of the best regional golf courses in Australia.
Golf and Leisure
Get yourself involved in the Saturday pub crawl, or get one in early at Friday night karaoke. With four pubs and two clubs, there is always something on.
Socialise
Stay long-term and get involved in the local sports scene, including some Aussie rules footy and netball. Guests are urged to go along to train and in some cases even play for the local team.
